Esna Heritage Day

Discover "the Value Investment in Sustainable Integrated Tourism in Esna (VISIT-Esna)" project through the presentation by Kareem Ibrahim, CEO & Co-Founder of Takween Integrated Community Development, at the Esna Heritage Day event organized by the Institut français d’archéologie orientale - Ifao.

The Ifao is organizing a day dedicated to Esna and its heritage, with the aim of highlighting the restoration and urban development work undertaken recently by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, University of Tubengen and the VISIT-Esna Project, as well as the pioneering work of documentation, studies, and publications begun earlier on by the Ifao. The event includes a half-day of lectures and presentations followed by the opening of an exhibition on Esna's heritage: photos, heritage clothing, and local recipes in the main hall, followed by a tasting of Esna's culinary specialties in the Ifao gardens, accompanied by a Tahtib show. *The VISIT-Esna Project is implemented by Takween Integrated Community Development in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry of International Cooperation, and the Luxor Governorate and supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
