Authenticity is the most controversial term in preservation of heritage.. Many use it to block interventions.. Many use to devalue properties for the interesting "site" commercial values.. Other use it in academic debates and professional wars.. However, many do not truly and "authentically" know what does it mean..!!

Cost Performance Index (CPI)
Represents the amount of work being completed on a project for every unit of cost spent. CPI is computed by Earned Value / Actual Cost . A value of above ONE means that the project is doing well against the budget.

Schedule Performance Index (SPI)
Represents how close actual work is being completed compared to the schedule. SPI is computed by Earned Value / Planned Value. A value of above ONE means that the project is doing well against the schedule.

PV = Planned Completion (%) * BAC
EV = Actual Completion (%) * BAC
CPI = EV/AC
SPI = EV/PV

EV = Earned Value 
PV = Planned Value 
BAC = Budget at Completion 
AC = Actual Cost

Others; are extracted from Logs of Daily Communications and Documentations.

Also, these clusters are immortal at the development level that will continue to function throughout the life span of the development.. They would dissolve into others whenever the development is merged with another..

Land Bank; which include all and various tenure, legal and litigation procedures of the development; from the brown land acquisition till the disputes among landlords and tenants.. This also will ideally include valuation; value monitoring and economic analysis of land and properties.. The Land Bank will correspond to the official bylaws and regulations related to taxation, stamp duty and document maintenance of the development..

Analysis of AlNouri Mosque


We had been a very excited group of professionals to apply and aimed to participate in the international competition to reconstruct and preserve the heritage values of AlNouri Compound at AlMosul of Iraq.. 
We had invested research, brainstorming and graphic to introduce a theme based on not only restore (or reconstruct) the buildings; but mainly to generate a heritage environment of the surrounding that would sustain for generations to come.. 
This did not neglect the need to upgrade and align the urban fabrics and components to the State of Art of Urban Excellence and Integration..
Later, we had unfortunately decided to decline to participate due to multiple reasons; which collectively had shaded doubts on the formal perspective and procedures to assess the specialized proposals.. Notably; non of the Jurys is specialized in the heritage preservation or management..!!
However; we join the Iraqi friends to celebrate the serious efforts to maintain Mosul's heritage and symbolism as one of world's  Distinguished Civilization Centers ..
